During the first few decades of the revolution of the electric industry many media and newspapers published a huge number of articles on Tesla's experimens, inventions and interviews which represents a nice plus of information. Today many sources in internet just offer some lazy or wrong explanations of the life and achivements of Nikola Tesla according to the huge quanitity of articles available.

Today some lectures by Nikola Tesla are considered as an important reference to understand the origins of some modern technologies and there are certanly a few missing lectures but also some missing important information which still would be necessary to analize to get some better conclusions.

There exist many interesting books on the subject of Tesla's biography but also on his inventions & experiments. Some of them could be essential to be able to find information on some precise subjects.

One of the most important technological advances was the establishment of the Alternating Current & the induction motor invented by Nikola Tesla, which had been adopted instead of Direct Current as the right technology to distrubute the power/energy which is generated and transmitted from far distances with nice efficiency to energize homes and industries. There are still many aspects of this technology which should be investigated in terms of efficiency, sustainability, ecenomic design, etc...

One of Tesla's greatest objective was to develop the right design of the magnifying transmitter which should be able to transmit huge quatities of energy through the air and could be received from any point of the earth surface by tuning the system to the earth resonance in some concept called longitudinal waves. The precise design and the principles are still uknown and it represents a controversial topic knowing that everyday the wireless electricity is more plausible but probablly just for short distances.

In 1896 the Electrical Review published some articles on x rays developed by Tesla. It appeared at the same time as when Roentgen announced his discovery of X-rays but he never attempted to proclaim priority and they shown their respect to eachother. Tesla experimented with shadowgraphs similar to those that later were to be used by Wilhelm Rontgen when he discovered X-rays in 1895. He also developed experiments including a carbon button lamp and other types of lighting, which could shine by the power of electrical resonance. One invention consisted in a special vacuum tube which emitted light to be used in photography.
